NYSSA* RODEO SUCCESSFUL
The 1947 rodeo staged by the Owyhee Riding
club was so successful that this year’s event is
expected to be even more successful.
The efficiency of the club in conducting last
year’s show indicated the possibilities of such
a show as an annual event for Nyssa and at
tracted the attention of Nyssa business people
who are assisting in the show this year in pro
viding advertising and giveing money on a
greater scale.
The co-operation of the farmers and city
folks again demonstrates what can be accomp
lished through mutual assistance. The co-oper
ation in another circumstance in a long list of
accomplishments that have always been success
ful when Nyssa residents and their farmer-
neighbors have worked together. Every event
in which Nyssa farmers and townspeople have
worked together in the last few years has been
successsful. That is an outstanding record that
we hope will be duplicated many times in the
future.
