O W Y H E E FA R M E R S H A R V E S T IN G H A Y OW YHEE, June 10— Mr. and Mrs. LaM ar Bell and son, Raymond, of Tigard were overnight guests in the home o i her aunt, Mrs. Martha Klingback, Tuesday night on their way to Haggerman to see Mr. Bell's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Brown and fam ily of Boise were Sunday guests in the Lynn K ygar home. Mrs. Houston Dunaway and chil dren were luncheon guests in the W alt Flynn home in Ontario Tues day. During the afternoon they shopped in Wei.ser. Betty Culbertson attended the wedding o f Ada Pearl West and Claude Scott in Payette Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Slippy and children are spending a week in Madras. T h ey left Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McGinnis and fam ily are moving to Nyssa. this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Brewer of Buhl, Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Clar ence Wood of Tryon, Nebxaska spent Thursday and Friday in the T. H . Brewer home. Mr. and Mrs. Werner Peutz were Sunday dinner guests in the Leo Huber home in Meridian. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald and children were callers in the B ill Wegman home in Homedale Friday evening. Bible school is in the second and final week at the Owyhee school- house, with Stanley Cain, the m ag ic man, bringing a Bible message to the children each day. A pro gram will be given Friday at 8:15 p.m. by the pupils. The public is invited to attend. M r. and Mrs. Jesse G regg and children and Stanley Cain were Sunday dinner guests in the M ar tha Klingback home. Mr. Cain is staying in the Martha Klingback home this week while he is assist ing at Bible school. Jesse Ditty, Jr., visited the flood area around Portland over the week-end, and although he was un able to get very close to Vanport, he reports that the area which he could see was a complete wreck. Mr. and Mrs. W illiam Peutz made a trip to Evergreen, Idaho Sunday and spent the night in Payette at the Henry Peutz home. Omar H ite and his sister, Mrs. Harley Wilson, returned Sunday from a trip to Savannah, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Williams and M ary Ellen attended the wed ding of Miss Ruby Riddle o f Parma, and Charles Eaton o f Nyssa Mon day evening at the Nazarene church in Nyssa. Mrs. M artha Klingback, Fred lingback and Kenneth McDonald drove to M idvale Saturday and pur chased a purebred Black Angus bull.
