We Are Happy To Have In Our Community One Of The Finest
Factories Of Its Kind In The United States.

We Are Especially Pleased
that the product processed by the Idaho Canning company is
grown on the farms of Malheur county, because we realize the
importance of finding better markets for the products of the
farm er’s toil. W ith establishment of the cannery here, sweet
corn will become one of the m ajor crops of this area.
The Nyssa community is just in the beginning of an agricul
tural and industrial development, with factories on the one side
and farm s on the other, but with a definite spirit of co-operation
between them. It is with this attitude that we hope Nyssa and
its rural areas will surge forward. As the farm ers prosper, so
will the Idaho Canning company and other industrial and busi
ness firms prosper.
