Garren of Nyssa route 2, and Oeorge Roper, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. Roper of Lakeview, were married In Boist Wednesday, June 25. The bride was graduated frorr the Nyssa high school with the class of 1947 The bridegroom servec for three years in the navy, twt years of which were in the Pacific, scene o f action. Duncan of Nyssa, and Beaty Lav, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Lay of Ontario, route I, were married July 2 at a ceremony performed at the home of the bride's parents in Nyssa. The ceremony was conducted by Judge Don Graham of Nyssa in the pre ence o f relatives and j friends. The couple were attended by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Chester Pulsipher of Nyssa and the groom’s brother, Giles Lay of Ontario, route 1.
