ceremony performed at the bride's
home at 4 pm. June 26 by the
Rev. H. J. Gernhardt.
The couple were attended by Miss
Arlene Peterson and Chester Coun
sll.
The bride was dressed In a mint»
green dressmaker suit with black
and white accessories. Her brides
maid wore a dusty rose suit with
black accessories.
The couple are graduates of the
Nyssa high school. Mrs. Counsll.
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
C. Smith of Nyssa, was graduated
from Oregon State college with a
home economics major e a rly in
June, 1947. Mr. Counsll, son of
Owen P. Oounsil of Nyssa, has
been employed since his discharge
from the navy by the Watts Motor
company and the Watts Seed com
pany of Nyssa and Parma.
The couple will be at home at
the veterans apartments in Nyssa
upon their return from a trip to
Chicago, Toledo and Kansas City.
Missouri. In Kansas City they will
visit Mr. and Mrs. Rodney L. Smith,
brother of the bride.
