The regular work week will be 56 hours
(seven 8 hour shifts). Time and one-half will
be paid after the first (40) straight time hours
worked. The lowest hourly rate paid for men
will be eighty-five (.85) per hour for the first
40 hours worked, and one and one-half ( i y 2)
times that rate for the next 16 hours worked.
The above rate will make $54.40 for a 56
hour work week.
The campaign will start about September
23 and will run for approximately 140 days,
due to the large beet acreage that will be har
vested this year.
