Picture Thrills Local Residents Commit!ee Asks County To Give Interest Money Court Takes Under Ad visement Experimental Farm Matter A delegation of Nyssa and Ont ario residents met with the county court in Vale Wednesday morning to discuss the Malheur county ex perimental farm situation. The committee told the court It wculd pay the McCarty second mortgage, if the court would pay the interest on the Federal Land bank's first mortgage in 1943 and 1944 The interest will amount to $250 each year. The court did not give a decision, but referred the matter to District Attorney M. A. Biggs to determine whether the ccunty could legally pay the interest. With promises already receiv ed, the committee has raised al most enough mcney to pay the McCarty mortgage.
