Rev. and Mrs. Clarence Brotzman
took Christmas dinner at the Conrad
Brotzman home In Apple Valley.
Mr and Mrs. R. W. BoUtho and
daughters enjoyed a family reunion
and Christmas dinner with Mr. Bo­
ll tho's sister, Mrs. Ray Reineke, and
family, of Melba, Idaho.
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Dimmick and
children are spending a two-week
vacation In Yakima.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Wolfe and three
children, who have been visiting In
Nebraska, returned home Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kendall and
Wyvall, Darrell and Yvonne took
dinner Thursday In the Otto Wolfe
home.
Word was received last week from
Paul Gilbert, who entered the army
a short time ago, that he was In the
tank division tn Fort Knox, Ken­
tucky.
Willie Gilbert and his sister, Mrs.
Ruby Roberts, took dinner Thurs­
day with Mr. and Mrs. John Reffett.
Mr. and Mrs. Don McCoy and
daughter of Boise spent a few days
last week visiting his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Lou McCoy, and Charles.
Dinner guests in the C. A. Ditty
home Sunday were Rev. and Mrs.
C. Brotzman and Philip and Alma
Hintz.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Parker were
treated to an old time charivari Sat-
uurday night at the Bud Chapin
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Evans and
daughter spent Christmas eve at
the I. H. Brewer home In Owyhee.
Mr. and Mrs. John Vanderpool
and Marvin and Della spent Christ­
mas with her brother, Harry Brown­
ing, and family of Emmett. They
returned home Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schweitzer
ate Christmas dinner with Mr. and
Mrs. Ouy Glenn and children.
Mr. and Mrs W. E Swetland were
unexpectedly called to California
the last of the week because of ser­
ious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
Penn, who have rented the Swetland
ranch and who were to take posses­
sion January 15, moved their trailer
house there and are looking after
the property.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Evans and
daughter enjoyed a family reunion
and Christmas dinner with Mrs. Ev­
ans' sister, Mrs. Darrell Williams,
and family of Arcadia.
Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Query and
Sharon and Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Ditty returned Sunday evening from
Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They re­
ported much snow.
Lloyd Lewis, rural mall carrier,
was unable to carry the mall the
latter part of the week because of
illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dali of Medford
arrived Christmas day for an In­
definite visit with his mother. Mrs.
Anna Dali, and other relatives here
and at Nyssa.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Warner and
family were called to Myrtle Point
last week because of the death of
Mrs. Warner's sister, Mrs. Bruce
Henry, who passed away after an
appendix operation.
Mr. and Mrs John Zittercob and
family, Mrs. Anna Dali and Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Dail were dinner guests
at the Theo Matherly home Christ­
mas.
Mrs. Harold Long is ill with
chlckenpox.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Englesby
of Meridian visited Mrs. Englesby's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lewis,
Christmas day.
The crowd at Sunday school Sun­
day was small because of so much
sickness. The superintendent, Mrs.
Ellis Warner, and her assistant,
Mrs. John Hickey, were absent. Sun­
day school was led by Mrs. Otis Bull­
ard and Mrs. John Zittercob. O ffi­
cers will be elected next Sunday. A
watch party wtll be held New Year's
eve if sickhess does not Interfere.

at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Bullard were Mr. and Mrs. Otis
Bullard and family, Mr. and Mrs.
Clyde Long and Max of Nyssa, Mr.
and Mrs. John Carr and family of
Weiner, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Oriis
and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Splawn, Ethel Mull and Ouy Schaf­
fer.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Zittercob of
Klamath Falls spent Christmas
John Zittercob and family.

tained their sons, Truman of Klam­
ath Falls and Leland of Boise, and
several friends at Christmas dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Harley Noah visited
at the Oeorge Moeller home Sunday
afternoon.
School was re-opened Monday. De­
cember 29.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Moeller of San
Diego and Mr. and Mrs Joe Foster
of Klamath Falls were dinner guests
Christmas eve at the Oeorge Moeller
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Fleming of
San Francisco visited at the Charles
Bullard home last week.
Mrs. Frank Sparks and lnftnt
son, Richard Wayne, returned home
last week from the hospital.
