SHOWER FOR BRIDE Miss Deana Smith who was mar ried Wednesday evening to Mr. Car ol Tucker at a prett^iom e wedding, was the honor guest at a miscel laneous shower given at the home of Miss Sabina Caldwell Tuesday night. A no-hostess dinner was serv ed at 7:30 with covers laid for eleven around one large, taper lighted table. Fol'owing the dinner, guests attended the show at the Liberty theatre. After attending the show all returned to the Caldwell home where Miss Smith opened her many lovely gifts. Refreshments wer- served at the close. THURSDAY BRIDGE CLUB Mrs. George Mitchell was hostess to the Thursday bridge club and after the usual number of games played a Christmas tree and an ex change of gifts were enjoyed, quests playing with the members were Mrs L. A. Maulding and Mrs. A. B Heisey.. FAMILY REUNION IN APPLE VALLEY The home of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Shaul of Apple Val'ey was the scene of a very happy family reunion on December 15. The five girls of the family are Fern. Mary, Fay and Ellen who are married and Ada Belle who is still with her parents. Mrs. Fern Standal and husband came from Naples. Idaho; Mrs. Mary Honey and family also Mrs. Fay Honey and family came from Cam bridge. SKIING PARTY On Sunday a party of young people drove up from Nyssa to Pay ette Lakes to enjoy the snow and 'kilng They reported the road to be in excellent condition and about a loot of snow on the ground.
