from each district. Lecturers will be
there from Garrett Theological
Seminary at Chicago and from a
Theological School in New York.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ferguson and
children were dinner guests at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hatch
in Big Bend Sunday.
Ross Summy and Gordon Correll
left Saturday for McCall where
they plan to spend the summer
working in the pea harvest. They
went to McCall with Greenbanks of
Parma.
Mr. and Mrs. Noah House and
children left Sunday for California
after staying here all summer at the
Leo Woods home.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rogers and
baby daughter left the latter part
of the week for their home at Ore-
grande after spending several weeks
here at the home of her parents Mr.
and Mrs. C. D. Vertrees.
Norma Stout was an overnight
guest at the home of Alma Lee
Dunn in Parma Monday evening.
Miss Eleanor Schultz returned
home last week from California
where she has spent the last two
years at the home of her grand­
mother. She is visiting her parents
Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Schultz.
Tom Ferguson has greatly im­
proved the appearance of the school
grounds by making a gravel drive­
way in front. This not only makes
the grounds more attractive but is
also safer besides, as the school
children will not have to go on the
highway to get on and off the bus.
Bonnie Newgen of near Nyssa
is spending the week at the home
of Mrs. Cecil Scott. Her mother Mrs.
Newgen was called to Arizona by
the death of a close relatives. Arlie
Scott is staying at Newgens during
her absence.
