The car occupied by two government men and one woman of Jordan Valley failed to make the turn and went end over end. One man and the woman were quite badly bruised and cut. They were taken to Nyssa by Lowell Ashcraft for medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Muntjewerff visited in the Ed Newton home on the Payette Oregon Slope Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ashcraft and Mr. and Mrs Ted Newton and fam ily were sightseers in the old mining town of Silver City and Dela Mar, Idaho Sunday. No casualties were reported after the sudden electric storm Sunday night but as a bit of an oddity, it seems that as Mr. and Mrs. James McGinnis and son were returning home from the parental Alvin Mc Ginnis home, the car was so com pletely surrounded by blowing dirt and sand, that they had to stop for a short time. After the hard rain, they tried to journey on, but found that they were practically stuck in the sand. After a little hard work they returned safely home. Joyce McGinnis returned home Monday night after a seven weeks stay at the Harvey Hatch home where she was ill with the whoop ing ccugh.
