They will attend the two weeks of 4-H summer school being sent as delegates by this dis trict. Ellen Judd Is visiting in Boise at the home of her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Gheen, the McLaughlin and Kurtz families enjoyed Ice cream at the latters home Friday night. Rose McGinnis has the whoop ing cough. Mr and Mrs. F Morgan were din ner guest Sunday of friends in Nyssa. Mrs. H. E. McLaughlin and her children returned home Friday after visiting in Caldwell all week. A man from the Lilly Seed com pany in Caldwell was out one day last week looking over the clover prospects. Mr. Larson, the county agent plans to be out Tuesday to look the field over with the idea of helping the farmers to decide about a first crop of seed. The bugs are doing some damage. E. P. Gheen spent Sunday after noon and night with his family in Ontario. This community is sorrowing be cause of the loss of its first life when the five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sugg, Mary El len, was drowned in the canal Mon day. The Sugg family are rather new people having come here last fall, but have a host of friends who extend their sympathy to the ber eaved parents.
