Why a Car Needs
Lubrication
Here are some things to think about while
lubricating an automobile. The figures were
taken from the publication “The Delaware Mot
orist,” and show that, when an automobile has
traveled 1000 miles, its moving parts have per
formed about like th is:
The crankshaft has made
tions.
3,000,000 revolu
The camshaft has revolved 1,600,000 times.
Each valve has opened and closed 1,600,000
times.
