Waters of the Northrop and King Seed company was in this vi cinity Monday getting fanners lined up to grow seeds for the company. Dr. and Mrs. E. D. Norcott and Mary wer:- dinner guests of the A H. Boydells on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs Knut Westerhtne of Meridian were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. John Hunter. A family gathering of the A. H. Wilson family was held Easter Sun day, with a bounteous Easter dinner served at the Claude Wilson home. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rumple and children of Nampa were here for the occasion. Chas. Paradis, district commander of the American Legion made an o f ficial visit to the Vale post and aux iliary last Wednesday night. He was accompanied by Mrs. Paradis and Mr. Fred Osterkamp, commander of the local post. Mrs. Farham Sills and daughter Peggy plan to leave Friday for Bur ley, Idaho where they will visit with relatives. They will be accompanied by Mrs. Sills' sisters, Mrs. Don Mar tin of Homedale and Mrs Herbert Snyder cf Boise. Tile Wendell Pogue family spent Easter with the M. S. Birks family in Apple Valley. Mr. Birks is feeling much better and last week was able to be out in the yard for the first time in months.
