OWYHEE NOTES LORfc Mbs Emille Corfleld and her aunt Mrs. Banche Houser left for Port land Saturday morning by train. They plan to visit Miss Cor field’s sister, Mrs. James Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Patton made a business trip to Ontario Monday. Miss June Mitchell attended the slumber party Thursday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs White. The party included members of the “Old Testament” class of the L.DS. church. Charles Chritton and Paul Ram son motored to Vale Monday on business. Charles Chritton Is building a large chicken house where he plans to put 250 young leghorn layers this fall Robert Cox made a business trip to Ontario Thursday. The Owyhee contract club met with Mrs. Neil Dimmick on Wednes day afternoon. Mrs. Andrew Boers- ma won high score prize and Miss Alta Bradley won low score. Mrs. William Orr has organized a club for young girls called “The Gleaners Club” The club meets every Wednesday, alternating the meetings with studying and sewing. This weeks meeting was held at the Ashby home. The Owyhee P. T. A. will meet Friday afternoon August twenty first at the home of Mrs. Charles Sch- weizer. Work for the coming year will be outlined and new officers elected. Everyone enterested in PTA work are urged to attend. Doc Pullen purchased a new elec tric refrigerator.
