TEACHERS ENTERTAIN
Eastern Star ladies went back to
school Monday evening at a kid party
given for them by the Star teachers.
Dressed in the mode of the gay nine­
ties, the teachers held a spelling bee
and all sorts of classes. They gave
stars and various prizes for good work.
A jolly evening closed with refresh­
ments.

SHOWER AT ADRIAN
In compliment to Mrs. Wilbur Rob­
erts who Is moving from Adrian to
Roswell, friends gave her a surprise
handkerchief shower Wednesday at
her home. Each guest took a covered
dish.
Mr. Roberts is moving his family to a
farm at Roswell. He has clerked in the
Van Petten store at Adrian the past
six years. Ted Newton of Ontario will
succeed him.
