Three tables of cards were in play, prizes falling to Mrs. Artie Robertson, Mrs. W. F. McLing and Mrs. J. J. Sar- azin. Mrs. Hicks received a guest prize. Lovely sweet peas, from the Dwight Smith gardens, decorated Mrs Smith's home for the occasion. • • • • • AID CONVENTION IN ONTARIO The June convention of the lower Snake river valley ladies’ aid society will meet In Ontario today. Delegations will be present from Nyssa, Ontario, Vale, Payette and Apple Valley. Miss Crete Marie Foster of Nyssa will give a talk on “Dally Vacation Bible school," and other reports will be made by rep resentatives from the various communi ties. Long of Arcadia is district president. • • • • • FAMILY REUNION A number of visitors from here at tended a reunion of the Clement family at the home of Mrs. Everett Wisdom, daughter of Mrs. Helen Clement, near Ontario Sunday. A picnic lunch was served on the lawn for sixty-five guests. Attending from Nyssa were Mrs. Oeo. E. Schwelzer and son Max and daugh ter Nellie Jean, Mr. and Mis. Bunny Schwelzer and Mr. and Mrs. Barr Doo little.
