ENTERTAIN HUSBANDS
The Monday bridge club gave a de­
lightfully Informal bridge dinner for
husbands Tuesday night at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Schlopkohl. At 6:30
o'clock a bountiful supper was served
buffet style. Four tables were then ar­
ranged for bridge. Favors for husbands
went to Guy Bailey for high score,
Estes L. Morton for low. Mrs. Eddie
Powell and Mrs. W. F. McLlng won
prizes. Mr. and Mrs. Morton, newcomers
from Ontario, were guests of the club.
DINNER IN BIG BEND
In honor of her birthday, Mrs. Lult
Stam and her family entertained a
number of friends at dinner Sunday
at their farm home In Big Bend. Guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Klaas Hart of Nyssa,
Mr. and Mrs. • Dick
