actors proved to be a star and
displayed histrisnic talent that
would have done credit to profes­
sionals, cash player being
especially fitted for his part The
plot of tha play was good and
presented maap amusing situa­
tions, especially one where
Eugene Manafin as a dignified
young lawyer crawled eat of a
dog house where he had been
hiding during the preeence of an
unwelcome visitor.
An enjoyable feature of the
evening was the music furnished
between acta. An orchestra of
local mualsans rendered aeveral
■ umbers and Mias Bernice Mar­
tin sang a solo that brought loud
applauao.
