shown It costs two cents per
meal to feed a child one hot

means that the people of Port­
land have saved 8000 children
for 150 days.

said Major-General Allen, head
of the nation-wide relief cam­
paign. and tha people are show­
ing they support hie declaration.
The state wide campaign for this
relief work is getting nicely un­
der way, too. with a good re­
sponse from the people every­
where.
