Dancing Every Night The program of the Malheur county fair to be held at Ontario week after next is increasing in size almost daily. When the fair opens on September 10, a larger crowd is expected than has been attending for many years. Reports indicating a record-break ing attendance are coming from all parts of Malheur county as well as from Payette, Washington, and Gem counties in Idaho. Racing and Wild West Program John Tons o f Vale has been en gaged by the fair commttee to se cure the wildest of wild horses and the best o f good riders for the racing and rodeo program. Ms-. Tons is scouring the hills and p'ains for outlaw horses and for riders who are able to stick it out on all comers. An unusually large amount will be offered in purses this year, in fact a total of approximately $5000 will be offered during the three days o f the fair. This, in addition to the fair premiums of $2000 and the free prizes totaling in value $ 500 , will make a total offering for the three days of $ 7 , 500 . It is not expected that any o f this money will be in the treas ury when the fair closes, but that every cent will be called for. Auto and motorcycle races have been ad ded to the sport program with at tractive purses for these events.
