The regular monthly meeting of the
Kingman Kolony Parent Teacher A«.o
ciation was held at the school house
at 2:30 p. m . Jan. 14, 1021.
The president, Mrs. Canrad Martin,
had charge of tha meeting.
After the usual business routine, re­
ports of committees, etc., a short pro­
gram was givaa.
Mrs. Pritchett, chairman of tke Hot
Lunch committee reported an abundance
of donations on hand with prospects of
sufficient for oil aoods as patrons era
uch pleased with the introduction of
tho hot lunch sorvlco.
Tao society expects to take up sev­
eral constructive measures in tha near
future and will hold an executive ses­
sion at tb* sohool house Satarday
afternoon, Jan. 22, to determine the
course to be followed.
Considerable interest is manifested
among the members in the meeting of
the County Council which it to be hold
in N yita soon and st which we hope to
be well represented.
A good attendance was present de­
spite the inclement weather, the mem­
bership being increased from 12 to 22.
Among the numbers on the program
were readings from the year books of
past National meetings of the Mothers’
Congress by Mesdames Hickex. Par­
sons, Graaling and Pratt. A solo by
Mrs. Charlotte McGinnis and a prac
tical talk on ‘ P. T. A. Work as I Hava
Seen It in Other Places ” by Mra.
Anna B. Pritchett, in which she stated
that she had observed that tha associa­
tion which was not continually angaged
in constructive work for school and
community usually failed. Tha next
regular monthly meeting will be held
on tka afternoon of the first Fri-
day in February.
