historic gold rush
The glaciers which were visit

EDITORIAL
From Bill Devlin's column in
the Steele County Press at
Finley:
I m told that there could be
another shortage - one of serious
consequence» There appears to
be a shortage of malting barley
this year that is used to make a
variety of beers Although I don't
think there will be a shortage of
the foamy beverage I wouldn't
be- surprised to see a price rise
But if there was a shortage of
brew there could be a nasty
aftermath - I mean if you take
away a m an’s gas and then his
meat and then jerk away the
crutch he is using to drown his
troubles in. you're going to have
one mighty angry individual
Then you will have a march on
the capitol that will be heard by
everyone
Of course I suppose they
wouldn't have to march on the
White House they could just call
in and complain and then every
one in government could listen to
the taped rwording well every
one except the Watergate com
m ittee and Special Investigator
Cox - they don't get to hear too
many tapes
How come there is never a
shortage of annoying items like
overdraft slips or diets that
don't work or dog hair on my
sofa or any other item of this
type
