RIVERVIEW—Mrs Evelyn
Heath returned last week from a
month's vacation trip to Halifax.
Nova Scotia, with stopovers in
Montana and Washington on the
return trip She accompanied
her sister, Mrs Lillian Kirkwood
of Davenport. Washington for a
three-week stay in
Halifax,
where they visited the latter's
son. Lieutenant Commander and
Mrs Kenneth Kirkwood and
family
Among the many scenic places
visited while there was Pegg s
Cove which has a snug harbor
for lobster fishing and a ligh t­
house built on huge granite
rocks.
On the return flight another
sister joined them in Helena.
Montana and visits were made
at Deer Lodge and Missoula with
their relatives
The next stop was in Spokane,
where a family gathering was
held at the Holiday Inn hosted
by the ladies’ brother and wife.

for the event

Mrs Billie Gravon of Portland
spent Sunday visiting the ladies'

Monday to visit George Snyder
of Hillsboro at the Emanuel
Hospital They found that he was
released after having open-heart
surgery on Wednesday-
