distributors are charging $15 per
hour for application but that

road departm ent employee p ull­
ed her out of a ditch and wanted
to charge her for this She in­
dicated that she had not paid
him . and questioned this policy.
She was advised that Thompson
would look into the m atter and
reprim and the employee invol­
ved She also discussed rem oval
by the countv of trees which she
alleged were on her property

cause he was not paid in an es­

ed that Hollinger had been pro­
mised $1.000 per month with an
annual increase of $500 after stx
months' em ployment The estab­
lished step ranges were $985.32

A fter discussion. Hollinger indi­
cated he would accept the $1.026-
.12 figure, with no increase after
six months

garding the responsibilities of
the deputy roadm aster Holling­
er expressed the opinion that
there were too many employees
acting as foremen or supervi­
sors. and not enough doing the
actual work necessary. He added
that there was inefficiency be­
cause of lack of planning ahead.

dition for this to be done.
