Ken, age 17, was recently arrested and
convicted of shoplifting. Here's what he
has to say about it.
"Man— I don't think I’ll ever get over it.
One lousy pair of leans. I even had the
money in my pocket: All I wanted to do
was see it I could get away with it.
It seemed so easy.
"The next thing I knew they were calling
the police. THE POLICE! I even offered to
pay tor the jeans, but it was too late.
"But that's not the worst of it. I've got
a record now. And as tor getting into
college, the minute they dig up my
record— it's forget it."
But Ken didn't just steal from a store.
