Among those from here attend­ ing the spring concert at Vernon­ ia grade school Thursday evening were the Norman Hansen, Bud Hemeon, Eldon Shetler and How­ ard Grimsbo families. Mrs. Lloyd Carlock accompanied Mrs. Charles Ramsey and family. Easter sunrise service was held at the Fishhawk cemetery early Sunday morning. It was well at­ tended in spite of slight rain. Af­ terwards Easter breakfast was served at the Birkenfeld Commun­ ity Center. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hansen and family and her folks, the How­ ard Thompsons of Clatskanie, were in Beaverton for Easter Sunday dinner.
