W. Kimble and Dorothy Waggoner, secretary. Mrs. Simmons requested that the secretary check to see if the park commission could meet regularly the first Thursday of each month at the St. Helens Chamber of Com­ merce office. A letter was received from Leys McCarter of Crown Zellerbach re­ garding funds available to Colum­ bia county in the amount of $9,- 275. Horseback riding clubs in the county were discussed. The park commission would like to m eet with these organizations regarding what could be done to benefit them in the county parks. The meeting was then adjourned.
