News of Grandson Is Relayed By Red Cross BIRKENFELD — Mr. and Mrs. Vick Berg are happy over the ar­ rival of a grandson born in Italy to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Berg August 24. The Red Cross relayed the news to the Red Cross in Astoria and they in turn relayed it to the Bergs. His name is Loren Lee and he weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces Mr. and Mrs. Orval Kelsey of Portland visited Sunday at the Tom Hopkins home. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hopkins, Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Hopkins and family and Hazel Cook of Port­ land will leave Saturday morning for Walla Walla where they will visit with relatives for a couple of days.
