in the St. Helens area to get
enough signatures to place the
name of Noel Marshall on the No
vember general election hallot as
an independent candidate for Co
lumbia county clerk.
Marshall has lived in the St.
Helens area most of the time since
1939. He is a graduate of the local
high school and Pacific university.
He later did graduate work at the
University of Oregon in secondary
school administration.
For the past year he has been
employed by Public Finance com
pany in St. Helens.
