MIST—Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cox
were in Portland Tuesday and
again Saturday. They visited Mrs.
Charles Sundland at the hospital
and reported that she is getting
along fine and is looking forward
to being able to come home be­
fore too long.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dowling
visited recently with his father
and sister. They are now on a trip
to Missouri to visit her relatives.
Mrs. A1 Cavanaugh returned
home Friday after being a medi­
cal patient several days at the Co­
lumbia District hospital in St. Hel-

ing their grandparents here for

from a trip to Louisiana.

Jim Locke and Mr. and Mrs. Gor­
don Laughlin of Seattle stopped
at the Sam Devines Saturday to
say hello. They were enroute to
Seaside to spend the night and
Sunday.

were Saturday and Sunday vis­
itors at the Ray Garlocks.

attend services in Vernonia at the
Bible church Sunday evening.

entered the Emanuel hospital Sun­
day and underwent surgery Mon­
day morning.
Sunday visitors at the Sam De-
vines were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hirt-
zel and children of Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Crawford
had a party Saturday evening for
the young folks in the neighbor­
hood. A weiner roast and marsh­
mallows were enjoyed.
Mrs. Wayne Kyser and boys
spent the week end with her folks
in Delena and also attended the
Rainier Daze.
