Edythe and Frank (Pop) LeVine
of Garden Grove, California, for­
mer coworkers with Kit and
Anita Kennedy at Douglas Air­
craft Co., Long Beach, Calif., had
lots to talk over about their years
of work together during their vis­
it recently with the Kennedys.
The LeVines also had a lot to re­
late about their visit to Canada
and the World’s Fair at Seattle.
If time psrmitted they would have
liked to spend more time than
from Thursday to Sunday in this
beautiful country.
Visitors at the D. Hershey
home over the Fourth were Mr.
and Mrs. Don Hagen of Coos Bay,
Mrs. Elsie Hershey, Mr. and Mrs.
Hal Vicars and family and Bessie
Hershey all of Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Lindsay and
her sister, Lois, of Iowa were
dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R.
S. Lindsay Saturday.

and Randy visited Mr. and Mrs.
Noble Dunlap Sunday evening.
The card club met with Mrs.
DeeVeere Hershey Friday. The
next meeting is planned for July
20 with Mrs. W. R. Wolff as host­

Mr. and Mrs. Max Oblack drove
to Portland Saturday. Sunday
they had as their guests Mr. and
Mrs. Reed Holding of Scappoose
and Mrs. Sam Devine.
Mr. and Mrs. DeeVeere Hershey
and Devy spent Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Childs. Mrs. Wm.
Lumm and Mrs. Mabel Parker of
Portland also were present to help
celebrate Mr. Child’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Peterson mo­
tored to Portland Tuesday. Sat­
urday they attended the SDA

ington; Mr. and Mrs. Russell

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Brown and
son. Mr. and Mrs. Brown spent
the afternoon and evening at the
home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harland Brown at Gales Creek.

Washington called on Mrs. Grace
Peachey Sunday. Mrs. Campbell
reported that Mrs. Robt. Wyckoff
was home from the hospital and
was making a slow recovery from
her recent surgery.
