One Man For One Woman GEORGE N. TAYLOR Portland. Oregon In old Corinth, a man made up to a woman and they lived to gether for a time. Then they shifted to others. The Apostla Paul would correct this error, lest the practice of swapping wives creep into the young church just being start ed in Corinth. God intended one man for one woman till death should them part. All Christian teaching declares that marriage is a sacred thing. So says the true church the world over. One man for one woman—“till death us do part.” Visitation Program Is Christian Church Plan The Christian church has made plans for pre-Easter visitation and evangelistic services. Ed De Wees, field representative of Turner Memorial Home at Turn er. Oregon will be here through the week of March 23 to March 29 conducting the visitation, pro gram. Frank Cunningham, who was pastor of First Christian church at Newberg for many years be fore going into evangelistic work and now of Winema, Oregon, will be here the following week to conduct evangelistic services. District Secretary Visits C.W.F. Study Group Fri. The C.W.F. study group of the Christian church met for their tegular meeting at the home of Mrs. Charles Hickman Friday, March 14. Guest speaker of the evening was Mrs. H. J. Feldman, district 2 secretary of C.W.F., of Forest Grove. Another guest was Mrs. B. A. Duncan of Forest Grove. Refreshments were served fol lowing the meeting by Mrs. Hick- man. She is named Melody Joy and she weighs 9 pounds. 612 ounces. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Snook and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Penney of Portland. Mrs. Lloyd Callister and son Ronnie visited Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Gibbey at Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hill of Fall City Fri day and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Cieon Woodruff and two sons and Mrs. Ethel Woodruff of Portland visited at the home of Mrs. Alice Mills on Sunday Mrs. Lena Gardner of Drain is visiting this week at the home of her sister. Mrs. Grace Peachey. Mrs. Harold Haycroft of Pen dleton visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W J Lind- sley.
