HIGHWAY TOUR ENDS AT PARK County Paving Equipment Here if continued fair weather holds on, paving projects in Columbia county should be completed by October 10. County Judge John Whipple said last week. County road crews have been busy re surfacing and repairing damaged roads throughout the county since late in July and when the project is completed approximately 20 miles will have been treated, the judge said. Since the road rebuilding was started about eight weeks ago, I paving has been laid on county roads in Scappoose, St. Helens, Goble, Rainier, Clatskanie and the county paving equipment ar rived in Vernonia Wednesday for work in this area which will coin- p etc the summer schedule. Services Today For Homer Inman Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:06 o'clock at the Evangelical United Brethren church for Homer Lee Inman who passed away last Sunday evening at a Portland hospital after a six months illness. Burial will be in the Vernonia Memorial cemetery. Mr. Inman was born Septem ber 8, 1904 at Pomeroy, Ohio. He was the son of the late Isaac and Eva Inman. He came with his parents to Washington when a small child and moved from there to Mist in the early 1920s. He had been a resident of the Mist and Vernonia area since that time and in recent years had a farm on Keasey route.
