commencement exercises of the
University of Oregon medical
school Friday evening, June 14,
in the school’s auditorium.
Dr. O. Meredith Wilson, presi­
dent of the University of Oregon,
will deliver th? commencement
address, after which Dr. Charles
N. Holman, associate dean of the
medical school, will present the
candidates for degree.
Dr. Krueger will intern at the
University of Oregon medical
school hospitals and clinics, Port­
land, during the next year.
His mother is on the faculty
at Vernonia high school.
Study Club Closes Year
With Picnic at Sandons
Mrs. Harry Sandon was hostess
to the Vernonia Study club on
Thursday eevning. June 6 with a
delicious pot luck picnic. There
were 14 members present with
two guests, Mrs. J. H. Stubbs and
Mrs. F. A. Nobes.
Highlight of the ev-ning was
revelation of the past year birth­
day friends and choosing the new
ones. A lovely going away gift
was presented Mrs. Bob Lindsay.
Next meeting will be held on
September 3.
