proud parents of a 5 pound
daughter, Sherry Renee' May 12.
Jim will be remembered as he
attended school here until his
second year of high school and is
the son of the Dale Barkers, for­
merly of Vernonia.

Brock, of Oceanlake, Oregon.
Other guests for dinner on Sat­
urday were Mr and Mrs. Walter
Kerry, of Oceanlake. The dinner
provided the occasion for a re­
union between Mrs. Kerry, the
former Iris Snow, and Mrs. Val-
piani, both of whom graduated
from St. Helens high school the
same year The Brocks formerly
lived in Clatskanie, where they
operated a candy store.
Word was received recently of
the death of Mrs George White
of Portland who lived near Kea-
sey for many years. Her two
si ns, Lewis and Frank, were well
known here, having been in the
bee business in the Keasey area
Mrs. B. J. Horn entertained re­
cently with a luacheon honoung
Mrs. Donald Cline for which other
guests were Mrs. Robert King
and Mrs. Kenneth Tupper. Mrs.
Cline showed the group many
pictures and souveniers from Eu­
rope.
Mr. and Mrs. David McCoy are
the parents of a son, David Ray,
born May 14 at the St. Helens
hospital. He weighed in at 5*g
pounds.
