Adventists Here To Aid Mission A grizzled, orange-painted Par amount chief in New Guinea's highlands may get his wish as a result of a special offering to be taken at the Seventh-day Adven tist Sabbath school Saturday. Chief Wizol, from the Mount Hagen region of New Guinea, walked two days journey through the wild terrain with his co chiefs to ask the Adventist mis sion to establish a school among his people. Mrs. Myrtle Lines, Sabbath school superintendent here, in announcing the offering to be taken, told of the start being made in educating the natives of Good Friday, Sunrise Services Are Planned The annual union Good Friday service sponsored by the Ver nonia Ministerial association will be held Friday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Christian church with all the churches contribut ing to the program. Rev. Charles Addleman will be the guest speaker. An Easter Sunrise service is also planned by the association for Sunday at 5:45 a m. Weather permitting, the Sunrise service will be, held in the Vernonia Memorial cemetery with Rev. L. A. Shelton as speaker. In event of bad weather the service will be transferred to the Vernpnia Bible church. this Pacific island.
