Vernonia Churches Unite for World | Community Day Observance Fri. World Community Day will be observed Friday in Vernonia at the First Christian Church. Mrs. L. A. Shelton of the As sembly of God church is the chairman of the day and Mrs. Lois Clark, EUB church, will be the musician. The sessions will open at 11 a.m. with the program presented by the EUB church, Mrs. L. E. Stiff, presiding. The Bible church will also pre sent their program in the morn ing with Mrs. Glenn Campbell presiding. A sack lunch will be held at the noon fellowship hour with each woman bringing a sack lunch of sandwiches and cookies. Cof fee will be served by the host church. The afternoon session will be gin at 1 o’clock with the Fn^t Christian church presenting the work of the food and agriculture organization.
