Memorial Honors 50 Year Granger
The regular suuion of the Co­
lumbia County Pomona Grange
was held in the Vernonia Grange
hall on Saturday, May 7, with a
fair attendance.

Good reports were made by the
agriculture committee members,
Eber Brown, Matt Erickson and
Fred Mollentjour
The annual memorial service
for <those who have passed away
during the last year was held in
th- afternoon. Among those so
remembered was O Henry Oleen,
a member of Beaver Homes
Grange and originally a member
of Deer Island Grange. Mr Oleen
..oined the Grange over fifty years
agit, and the record shows that
he became a member of Pomona
Grange when Deer Island Grange
entertained Poyiona. on February
4. 1905. He has bee® an active
memb t of tbe Grange for these
many years until old age kept
him away the last few years,
