GEORGE N. TAYLOR Portland. Oregon S.E. Asia — The small boy said his older brother stole his cigarettes. They argued back and forth until the chief of the tribe ordered the rice test. Each boy was to chew a mouthful of rice and then empty his mouth. The older boy’s mouth was dry. He had no saliva. He was upset and they judged him the liar and lashed him. Later he con fessed to th? theft As sent by a S E. Asia missionary. You Ever Lie? Jesus died for the lying of this petty thief. Christ died for every liar, big or little, secret lies and evil thoughts and open lies and sins. Put your faith on Christ. Know that he died for your every sin to set you right with God. Believe down in your heart that Christ cleared you and God gives you new birth into eternal life.
