to Forest Grove to be initiated
with other new members of

Oregon's outstanding ritual

all women’s post of Portland, will
c< nduct. Dana King is limited
to membership to women veter­
ans of the various armed forces.
They are L gionnaires, not Aux­
iliary. wear attractive uniforms
and are letter perfect in their
parts.
Dana King’s ritual team has
perfected a smooth and impres­
sive ceremony. They are in de­
mand constantly for all kinds of
services and have a reputation
that extends beyond their own
department.

Vernonia Temple No. 61, Py­
thian Sisters, held its first meet­
ing for 1954 on January 13 with
M.E.C. Lesta Garner presiding.
A considerable amount of busi­
ness and reports were taken care
of during the meeting, among
them being reports of several
Knights and Sisters who went to
St. Helens Tuesday, January 12.
They told of the joint installa­
tion of Avon Lodge and Ava
temple.
At the installation ceremonies
here January 11. Jun" W'llis and
Lillian Davis were presented Past
Chief pins. Mrs. Willis, outgoing
M.E.C.. gave each of her officers
a gift of a bone china cup and
saucer.
The next meeting will take
place Januaury 27.
