Mr. and Mrs. Hal Vicors of
Portland were Saturday over
night guests at th: Hershey home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wolff and
Mrs. Kenneth Tupper attended a
wedding reception, Dec.mbcr 5,
at Helvetia hall, honoring Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Hayes. Mrs.
Hayes is a niece and cousin, res­
pectively of Mr. Wolff and Mrs.
Tupper.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wolff were
recent Sunday dinner guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Davis in Ver­
nonia. The occasion was Mr.
Wolff’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Knute Johnson
are happy over the arrival of a
granddaughter Monday at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilham
who reside in California.

siege with the fiu last week, He
has been staying with Mi. and
Mrs. Bert Tisdale while ill. Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Beck and Ruth
Pierce have been delivering the
mail for him.
Mr. and Mrs. Lin Reyno ds and
sons took Mrs. Exie Weaver to
Dallas Saturday where she '.eft
for the East with her daughter,
Mrs. Lulu Chambers, and son to
see John Weaver, who is in the
hospital critically ill.
Miss Barbara Hunt of Ver­
nonia was a Tuesday evening din-
ner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lin
Reynolds, sons, and Sylvia Ste-
vens.
Ben Reynolds of Coombs, Ar-
kansas passed away Wednesday,
D. cember 16. Mr. arid Mrs. Al­
bert Reynolds left Wednesday
evening by train. Lin Reynolds
and Forrest took them into Port­
land to catch the train.
