Church to Hear Guest Speaker Something different is waiting for all who attend the Vernonia Bible church this coming Sun day morning for the 11:00 a m. worship service. The guest speaker is to be Julian DeRock, : ales and service manager of the Wart ham Motor company, Stude. baker center of Portland. Mr. DeRock is a former resident of this area, having been born Wolves Howled Grandfather used to tell how he could hear the wolves howl as he drove the cows in at night. In those and earlier times, the people used to gather to thank God for the harvest and so cam? Thanksgiving Day. But as now, America has such wealth as to be threatened with rot.
