Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Waite are the parents of a daughter born at the Emanuel hospital, Portland, Sunday morning at 7:22. She weighed seven pounds 13 ounces and has been named Kathryn Marie. Mrs. Zoe Whitsell returned here Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. El- gus Frank after spending two weeks at DeLake with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Whitsell and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bell. Mr. and Mrs. Frank were there for a short stay last week. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bateman and sons came home Monday after a vacation spent at Cannon Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Aldrich and family spent from last Thurs day to the end of the week with friends and relatives in the Coos I Bay area. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hauschildt and children from Seattle spent several days last week at Gear hart with Mrs. Paul Gordon. Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Hauschildt ar? I sisters. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Later the family moved to Portland. They were on a trip around the loop and to inquire about cemetery lots of relatives and friends. The children, Mary, Raymond and Frank, all went to school here.
