Daughter Taken YESTERDAYS To Hospital RIVERVIEW — Carol Ann, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Brunsman, was taken to the Good Samaritan hospital in Portland Sunday, suffering with ear trouble. Mr. and Mrs. John Krinick spent W-dnesday visiting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Howell, at Gales Creek. Mrs. Aletha Yaun of Bellview, Wisconsin came Saturday to re main until after Christmas with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Welter visited Mrs. Oscar Rand at St. Helens Sunday. There are about 50,000 Indian- head pennies still outstanding. Dec. 18. 1947 Lions club secretary Bill Horn and Columbia Tree Farm forester Paul Goodmonson cut and placed small fir trees along both sides of the business section of Bridge street for holiday season decora tions. Mr and Mrs. A. F. Wagner, former owners of the Pal Shop here, have purchased an ice cream store located at Tigard in the Joy Theater building. Mt. Heart Rebekah lodge ini tiated three into membership. They were: Clara B. Herra, Irene Myers and Josephine Hanel. Three Vernonia country club golfers. Jack Anderson.
