Alice Weed and Peggy Cone reported on their trip to the home to deliver fruit and towels. Installation will be held jointly with the Knights early in Janu ary. After adjournment, delicious re freshments were served by Faye Davis, Marie Shafer and Edna Heenan. The club, officially known as the Nehalem Valley 4-H Forest Builders, is led by Don Campbell. The boys helped reforest part of the area near Tophill which was burned in 1947 by a fire from a cigarette. Auxiliary met on Tuesday, December 16, for a reg. ular meeting at the IWA hall with 26 members present for the initiation of Joann Savage and June Fluke. The Auxiliary was given the name of a needy family for Christmas and the penny drill was turned over for this purpose for shoes for the family. Louise Hamnett is in charge of preparing the food basket and clothing for this family and if members will call 1457 she will pick up items for the basket. The Auxiliary will also send a package to the adopted soldier at Camp White. Mrs. Judd Green man will b? in charge of that package. * The Christmas party followed the meting and refreshments were served by Gertrude Andei - son, Trudy Magoff and Nora Redmond.
