Chancellor Commander Oscar G. Weed, Secretary and I.O.O.F. Fourth They urged Christ to stay on and raise up others of their halt, lame and blind. But to remain Christ would not, for He must press on and give God’s love Message to others and back the Message with the miracles that said He was sent of God.—1st Corn. 1:22. After months of teaching, heal ing and raising their dead, Christ took your sins, was named sin. Then He died for you and suf fered to the full the pains of hell your sins had earned you. Th n being the Crea tor, Giver and Sustainer of all from the grave dwells with God-life, all who will have Him, as their own Lord and Saviour. Don’t wait to get good. Come as you are in all your sins. Then look utterly to Him for new days and ways. Let Him prove Him self. — “He that cometh unto Me I will in no wise cast out”— John 6:27. Where you give out the Gospel —the Good News—God works. This space paid for by a family of the county. A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. —Proverbs There are no greater miracles known to earth than perfection and an unbroken friendship. —Mary Baker Eddy Friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adver sity before it is entitled to the appelation. —George Washington I don’t expect a friend always to please my particular taste, nor do I expect always to please him. —Gelett Burgess The only way to have a friend is to be one. —Emerson A friend should be one in whose understanding and virtue we can equally confide, and whose opinion we can value at once for its justness and honesty. —Robert Hall VERNONIA.
