Snow Falls at Mist On Two Recent Dates MIST — Snow fell quite fast Saturday night for a few minutes until the ground was white and on one other night the snow fell covering the ground upon the Clatskanie mountain. GARAGE Phone 337 Snow, Ice Hazard on Highway Causes Wreck 1950 Census Taking Plan Given Outline CAMP McGREGOR — Snow with ice glaze has been intefer- ing with traffic on the Sunset highway summit. At least one car was wrecked Friday morn- ing. but no one was injured. The Camp McGregor road was very hazardous and chains were need ed. Mrs. Josephine Posey and her daughter, Diane, of Astoria ar rived in Camp Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs Robin Bailey mo tored to Astoria Saturday, re turning to camp accompanied by their daughter and granddapgh- ter for a stay of a week or more. Bill Mason and Glenn Johnson motored from Camp to the Trask at Tillamook to fish and the for mer caught a six-pound steel- Columbia county will be in cluded in a district along with Yamhill, Clatsop, Washington and Tillamook for the taking of heal. He also lost a bigger one. the 1950 census, it was learned here a few days ago. Headquarters for the district are to be maintained at Astoria, according to the report.
