Waking out of his sleep and seeing the cell doors open, the jailer drew out his sword to kill himself, believing every last prisoner had escaped. Now hear the Apostle Paul cry from his inner cell— “Do yourself no harm for we are here.” At that the jailer sprung in and fell before the Apostle to ask—What must I do to be saved? Yes, God also shook the jailer. See Acts 16th. A LIFE FOR A LIFE — The Apostle answers the’ jailer — Be lieve on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” Like a all of us, the jailer had sinned and like us his sins were against God. So in Christ, God died for the jailer and for us also for GOD WAS IN CHRIST—BIBLE. A letter at hand tells of a college instructor who come to know himself to be lost and in need of the Saviour. Later the man gave himself to the Lord with his heart free from an old bitterness. Yes—Judgment Day out and Eternal Life in.
