His statement follows: “Several days ago we received from the Supervsor of Hot Lunches in Oregon. 280 boxes of the finest quality of Bartlett pears, with instructions to use 30 boxes fresh and 250 boxes for canning pur poses. We were very appreciative cf this very fine surplus com modity but were unable, from the lames Clawson is county chest ■hairman.
